Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 15th August 2025 | Last updated: 15th August 2025
1. Introduction
Coloring Page Magic (the “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, web application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information —name, email, hashed password, and subscription status.
- Payment Information —handled by Stripe; we receive tokenized transaction IDs, not full card details.
- User Prompts & Uploads —text prompts, photos, or other images you provide to generate coloring pages. Uploaded images are stored in our database so we can process, validate, and quality‑check the resulting AI coloring pages.
- Generated Outputs —the AI‑created coloring pages we deliver back to you.
- Device & Log Data —IP address, browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- Cookies & Similar Technologies —see Section 6 below.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Generate AI coloring pages via third‑party model providers—including OpenAI (OpenAI, Inc.), Flux Image API (Black Forest Labs, Inc.), and Google Imagen (Google LLC).
- Validate and improve output quality (e.g., reviewing uploads and generated images for compliance and performance).
- Process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud (via Stripe).
- Perform analytics and usage measurement (via Google Analytics) to improve the Service.
- Respond to inquiries, provide customer support, and send important service‑related communications.
- Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Bases (GDPR)
If you reside in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Contractual necessity—to deliver the Service you request.
- Legitimate interests—to maintain security, improve the Service, and perform analytics (balanced against your rights).
- Consent—for non‑essential cookies or marketing emails.
- Legal obligation—to comply with tax, accounting, or court orders.
5. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as necessary to run the Service:
- Payment Processor —Stripe processes subscription payments.
- AI Model Providers
- OpenAI API (OpenAI Global LLC, OpenAI Inc.)
- Flux Image API (Black Forest Labs Inc.)
- Google Imagen (Alphabet Inc., Google LLC)
Prompts and uploaded images may be transmitted to these providers solely to generate the requested coloring pages.
- Analytics —Google Analytics to understand aggregated usage patterns.
- Infrastructure & Storage —cloud hosts and database vendors that help us store and serve the Service.
- Legal & Compliance —law enforcement or other parties when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use first‑party cookies that are essential for authentication and Service functionality, plus third‑party analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to help us improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; rejecting non‑essential cookies will not limit core functionality, but may reduce analytics accuracy.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Account data—while your account is active.
- Prompts, uploads, and generated outputs—for up to 24 months, unless you request earlier deletion.
- Billing records—as required by tax and bookkeeping laws.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards—such as encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews—to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to safeguard your data.
9. International Transfers
Your information may be processed or stored outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect international data transfers.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- access or obtain a copy of your personal information;
- request correction or deletion;
- object to or restrict processing;
- port your data to another service;
- withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing); and
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any rights, email hi@coloringpagemagic.com.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it as quickly as possible. Users aged 13–17 must have a parent or guardian’s permission.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (e.g., via email or a banner on the site). Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
